- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Transcribe legal documents, including client interviews and court proceedings
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, contracts, and pleadings
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, hearings, and depositions
- Coordinate with external parties, such as clients, witnesses, and experts
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize document management systems (e.g., Clio) to store and retrieve case-related information
- Assist with project management tasks related to case assignments

- Proven experience as a Family Paralegal or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of family legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in conducting legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., Clio, Gsuite)is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
