Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Office Assistant
Location: Centralia, WA
Job Type: Part-Time (20–30 hours per week)
Pay: $20.00 per hour, to start

ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
- Welcome and room patients
- Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare exam rooms and assist the provider during patient visits
- Clean and stock examination rooms
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- MIPS compliance in charts
Administrative Duties
- Answer multi-line phones professionally
- Schedule patient appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Obtain prior authorizations
- Process referrals
- Assist with medical billing and coding (experience preferred)
- Check patients in and out
- Collect copays and balances
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred; experienced Medical Assistants encouraged to apply
- Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience preferred
- Experience with EMR systems
- Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, compassionate, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
