Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled food service professional to join our team at Floyd County Schools. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and be able to prepare, cook, bake, and serve a variety of foods in quantity while maintaining clean and sanitary facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide range of baked goods and other food dishes.
- Determine appropriate food quantities for cooking and baking, adjusting recipes as needed to meet quality standards.
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Serve food according to established guidelines and replenish serving containers as needed.
- Clean cafeteria equipment, utensils, and appliances, and store food supplies in compliance with kitchen sanitation and safety procedures.
- Assist in storing unused food and supplies, disposing of unusable leftovers, and handling foods for storage.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment, including slicer, chopper, mixer, steamer, fryer, dishwasher, electric warmer, range, oven, pressure cooker, cash register, and other cafeteria equipment as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Successful experience in the food service industry preferred.
