Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. Duties
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including but not limited to endodontics and restorative work.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to safety standards.
- Record vital signs and maintain accurate medical records for each patient visit.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment schedules and ensure efficient patient flow within the clinic.
- Maintain knowledge of dental terminology and procedures to effectively communicate with both patients and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to dental assisting.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with dental clinic systems and medical records management is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices within a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in dental terminology, vital signs monitoring, and basic medical imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.
