The Role
The Project Manager will operate as a senior leader within the construction group and will be responsible for overseeing complex project(s) while providing leadership and support to the Superintendent and project group.
This is a highly visible position with real authority and accountability. The expectation goes beyond individual project execution and includes maintaining consistency across multiple projects, mentoring team members, managing risk, and helping drive operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support Assistant Managers and Project Engineers
- Maintain control of project schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement, and change management
- Serve as a senior escalation point for project risks, scope conflicts, and client issues
- Ensure consistent execution standards across project teams
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Partner with senior leadership on staffing plans, workload balancing, and operational improvements
- Promote safety, quality, accountability, and professionalism across all projects
What This Role Requires
- 5 years of experience managing complex commercial construction projects
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior experience mentoring or leading Project Managers
- Strong financial, contractual, and operational judgment
- Experience with negotiated, design-build, or repeat-client work preferred
- Ability to operate independently with minimal day-to-day executive oversight
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary between $125,000 to $175,000 (based on experience)
- Annual performance bonus, typically 10% discretion
- $800/month car allowance
- 401(k) with 4% match
- 20 days PTO 10 Paid Holiday Days
