What you’ll be doing
- Overseeing multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Leading Project Managers, Superintendents and project teams
- Acting as the senior point of contact for owners, architects, consultants and subcontractors
- Managing budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders and client expectations
- Partnering closely with preconstruction on pursuits, budgets and project strategy
- Supporting team development, hiring, mentoring and performance management
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and to a high standard
- Building long term client relationships and helping drive repeat business
Ideal background
- Experience working for a general contractor or design build firm
- Strong background managing complex commercial construction projects
- Experience across interiors, multifamily, light industrial, retail, restaurant, entertainment or sports projects would be valuable
- Proven ability to lead multiple teams and client relationships
- Strong commercial, financial and operational understanding
- Comfortable operating in a senior, visible, client facing role
