Flowstate AI is building next-generation AI agents that watch and analyze videos so humans don’t have to. Our platform enables archival search, structured data extraction, content moderation, and generative applications, initially targeting enterprise clients in the media and entertainment industry. As a nimble, early-stage team, we have rapidly moved from pre-seed funding to delivering our first six-figure ARR client, and we are now scaling aggressively to expand our platform’s capabilities. Role Description

As the Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer (Founding Role), you will own the design, implementation, and scaling of all AI and video infrastructure. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and efficiency of large-scale distributed systems and evaluation pipelines, while contributing to foundational architecture decisions that support the company’s rapid growth. This role is central to Flowstate’s mission of transforming video content into structured, actionable, and monetizable insights, and provides a unique opportunity to shape the infrastructure and systems of an early-stage AI startup from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Experience with GCP
• Experience with infra as code (Docker Terraform etc.)
• Experience with orchestration services (e.g. Temporal, Airflow etc.)
• Experience with autoscaling and load balancing for services like CloudRun, Kubernetes etc.
• Experience with monitoring and production grade dev ops (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana etc.)
• Experience with inference services like Modal, Baserun etc.
• Knowledge of AI workloads is a plus

Compensation

Estimated salary $150,000 - $230,000, plus a competitive equity package (0.5%-3.0%).
