Role Summary
The Precision Assembler will prepare assembly work and documentation, assemble pumps using various tools and test equipment, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers. This role requires strong attention to detail, a results-oriented approach, and the ability to troubleshoot issues within assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Complete assemblies according to drawings, instructions, and work orders, performing testing when required.
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of inspection equipment, their functions, and uses to ensure all parts and assemblies are within specifications.
- E nsure all parts and components are clean prior to assembly and that assemblies are completed properly, following all assembly procedures.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal safety equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly.
- Participate in CIP activities as needed and comply with all Flowserve policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience as a mechanic for rotating machines, mechanical devices, or as a general mechanic is preferred.
