Application Engineer
The Application Engineer plays a vital role in the oil and chemical industries, overseeing the design, manufacturing, installation, and operation of Flowserve's pumps and seals at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on the design, application, installation, operation, and maintenance of our centrifugal and liquid ring vacuum pumps, as well as mechanical seals.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and Flowserve's sales engineers, reliability engineers, customer service, and manufacturing teams.
- Troubleshoot technical problems at customer sites and within our Flowserve Quick Response Repair Center, requiring both hands-on and mathematical approaches.
- Evaluate reports and data to support recommendations for improvement, replacement, or repair of equipment.
- Present clear verbal and written technical explanations to customers, tailoring content and style to the audience.
Requirements
- BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree required.
- All levels of experience considered, including new graduates and mid-career professionals.
- In-plant operations experience highly desirable.

This is a first shift position: Monday - Friday 7:30AM to 3:00PM. The pay range for this role is $83,858.19 -125,846.26 USD Annual.
