Program Overview Flowserve IGNITE is a highly selective, three-year rotational leadership development program for talented engineering graduates ready to turn technical potential into real business results through hands-on learning and high-visibility assignments. This is more than a first job - it is a launchpad. The IGNITE Program is intentionally designed to provide you with diverse experiences that will stretch your technical skills, build your leadership capabilities, and expose you to the people, processes, and business decisions that power a global manufacturing organization. As you progress through the program, you will learn how to combine engineering training and experiences with business acumen, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to make meaningful contributions, influence stakeholders, and help drive results that matter. Your development will not stop when the program ends. What the Program Includes Three rotations in different US geographic locations, with a site role at each location to provide exposure to varied jobs and assignments. A tailored curriculum supporting the development and application of technical, professional, and leadership skills. Diverse project assignments designed to deliver visible and significant business impact. Learn about the flow control industry and how Flowserve is making a difference in critical industries. Leadership development focused on connecting effectively, helping others achieve their potential, magnifying impact through others, and strengthening Flowserve as a great place to work. Participation in Target Zero programs focused on the goal of zero accidents, defects, delays, emissions, and waste. Operations & Engineering Leadership Track Apply your problem-solving skills to real-world challenges impacting both local and global operations. This track will prepare you for roles in Operational Excellence, Materials Management, Supervision, Product Design, Supply Chain, etc. Business Unit Leadership Track Connect your engineering training to business strategy and enterprise solutions. Upon completion of this track, you’ll be prepared for roles in Applications Engineering, Commercial Operations, Business Analytics, etc. Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering by May 2027. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. Demonstrated leadership experience and desire to build a career as a people leader. Mobility within the continental United States for at least three years to accept assignments at IGNITE program facilities, which may including Addison, IL; Bethlehem, PA; Chesapeake, VA; Cookeville, TN; Dallas, TX; Hastings, NE; Kalamazoo, MI; Lynchburg, VA; Pasadena, TX; Raleigh, NC; Springville, UT; and Taneytown, MD. Authorization to work for any employer in the United States. Flowserve is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa now or in the future. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Motivation to develop business and leadership skills while working on operational and business critical projects and solutions. Strong organization and work/project planning skills. Self-motivation and the ability to collaborate effectively. Zero to two years of relevant work experience, which can include internships or co-op experience. Comfort working with ambiguity. Understanding of data collection and analytics, with the ability to report findings. Must have reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint. Basic coding experience with Python, Java, C/C , SQL, or similar languages. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes. Experience with project management tools or methods such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall. Experience leading teams to achieve project goals and objectives. Understanding of basic business principles.
