Job Summary
Flowserve is seeking a Machine Operator (Deburr/Grind) to join our manufacturing team in Taneytown, MD. This role involves performing various tasks within the Burr and Balance department, including precision tool grinding and use of overhead jib cranes.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand tools to deburr, cut, and polish parts
- Operate overhead and jib cranes to lift and move heavy parts
- Work in other areas of the department when needed
- Use hand tools, air tools, die grinders and hand drills
- Accurately complete certification reports
- Adhere to all Safety Procedures & Policy
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and CIP environment
- Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions
- Basic shop math skills
- Able to stand for long periods, repetitive arm motions, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime as required
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using pneumatic air tools
