FlowPros LLC is looking for dependable, hardworking Water Meter Technicians to join our team. We partner with utility companies to replace and upgrade water meters and related water service infrastructure.

We are seeking individuals with plumbing experience who are comfortable traveling, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and performing hands-on fieldwork. Job Responsibilities

• Replace and install water meters for utility companies.
• Work on water service lines, meter boxes, meter pits, and related plumbing components.
• Remove existing meters and install new meter systems according to project specifications.
• Inspect service connections and identify potential issues during installations.
• Perform basic plumbing work associated with water meter replacements.
• Use hand tools and company-provided specialty equipment to complete installations.
• Work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and changing weather conditions.
• Travel to assigned job sites and complete work efficiently and professionally.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and utility company requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and represent FlowPros LLC professionally.
• Able to read meters as well insert new data from field electronically.

Qualifications

• Plumbing experience is required.
• Water meter installation, water service line, or utility experience is a plus.
• Must be willing and able to travel to various job sites.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working around meter boxes and pits.
• Must be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
• Must provide basic hand tools needed for everyday plumbing work.
• Specialty tools and equipment required for company projects will be provided by FlowPros LLC.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of $50,000–$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Company-provided housing for qualifying travel assignments.
• Company vehicle provided for work-related travel and job duties.

• Per diem available on qualifying assignments, depending on travel distance and job location.
• Opportunities to work on projects in different locations and develop specialized water utility skills.

Work Environment and Travel Requirements

This is a traveling field position requiring regular travel to project locations. Technicians must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physical work involving water meters, service lines, and underground meter boxes.

Travel schedules and job locations will vary depending on project needs. Housing and per diem availability will depend on the assignment.

Tools and Equipment

Employees are responsible for providing their own basic hand tools commonly used for plumbing work. FlowPros LLC will provide any specialty tools, equipment, and project-specific items needed to perform assigned work.
