Job Information
Provides a variety of secretarial, clerical and administrative support duties for departments, functional groups and/or executives. Greeting visitors and answer all inbound calls and route them to the appropriate destination. Responsible for providing administrative support to departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Greets customers, vendors and associates
- Answers internal and external calls; directs calls to the appropriate department
- Open and distribute mail
- Package and mail customer invoices and outgoing checks
- Running postage machine for outgoing mail
- Max Recall breakdown, scanning and uploading of customer PO’s for three branches
- Add tracking information in SXe for warehouse transfers for three branches
- Breakdown, scanning and uploading of orders and warehouse transfers for three branches
- Provide miscellaneous clerical assistance to various departments as needed
- Freight reconciliation
- Maintain daily and yearly files
- Daily shipping and receiving procedures
- Some A/R and A/P functions
Qualifications:
- Telephone experience
- Customer service experience
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility

- Occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Continually required to talk or hear
- Continually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard

- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
- Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions
- Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
