What you’ll do
- Diagnose and treat complex endodontic conditions, including performing root canal therapy with precision.
- Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques to assess dental health and develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to provide comprehensive patient care in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, addressing concerns and educating patients about their treatment options.
- Perform dental extractions and other procedures as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients.
- Stay current with advancements in endodontics through continuous education and training.
Basic qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with specialization in Endodontics.
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or prosthodontics is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical records management.
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is advantageous.
