Shop Technician

Company Overview:

H2K Technologies designs and manufactures large-scale water treatment equipment and systems. We operate with an experienced crew of technicians and project managers who are willing to train and share their expertise. Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled, lowkey, and friendly shop located in Corcoran, MN, where systems are assembled on-site.

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable team member with mechanical ability and experience around power tools. If you like working with your hands and are willing to learn, we can train you. Daily tasks of the job include plumbing pumps, blowers, and other equipment, constructing enclosures for housing equipment systems, handling sub-assemblies and completed systems with forklift, and assisting with control panel/electrical systems wiring.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings, and/or specifications.
• Use of machinery to build systems.
• Use of powered and basic hand tools.
• Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
• Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner at all times.
• Maintain an organized work area and equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Consistently be present and on-time.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role is ideal.
• Basic power and hand tools experience necessary.
• General knowledge of plumbing best practices.
• General knowledge of carpentry best practices.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, bend & twist at waist & knees & reach overhead.
• Electrical knowledge is not a requirement, but is beneficial.
