What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Cath lab - FT - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM - with Call position at Flowers Hospital?
The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab takes direction from the Director, Assistant Director. The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care for patients of all ages, from adolescent to geriatric, based on the Nursing Process. This position is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of patients during the preoperative and postoperative phase. This position requires knowledge and application of circulating skills necessary to assist in the performance of various cath lab procedures. The Registered Nurse shall assume responsibilities of the patient as needed.
Education:
- Must have the required education needed to be a licensed Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
Experience:
- One (1) year clinical nursing experience preferred.
Must be able to take call and respond within 30 minutes
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Must maintain current BLS certification.
- Must maintain current ACLS certification.
Education
Required- Associates or better in Nursing
- Bachelors or better in Nursing

Required- L-AL-RN License
- C-AHA ACLS
- C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac
