Flower Processor (4 Hours Per Week)
We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Flower Processor to handle the weekly preparation of fresh floral product. This role is strictly a 4‑hour weekly shift, and we need someone who is physically able and willing to complete all processing tasks within that time frame.
Fresh flowers typically arrive on Sundays and must be fully processed that same day. On rare occasions when shipments are delayed, processing will shift to Monday instead.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize buckets
- Prepare and condition water
- Trim and hydrate fresh flowers
- Remove excess foliage as needed
- Maintain cooler cleanliness and organization
- Document any quality issues as the product is unpacked
- Break down and dispose of boxes
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable being on your feet and actively working for 4 consecutive hours
- Strong time‑management skills to complete all boxes within the allotted shift
- Organized, efficient, and attentive to detail
Note: Floral holidays, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day weeks, will have more incoming product and therefore a longer shift needed to process all the product. For those holiday weeks, availability to work longer will be necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 per hour
