OVERVIEW:
The Regional Manager will be responsible for the oversight of multiple fitness clubs, consistently driving revenue and overall operations to ensure an exceptional member experience as well as a financially successful club. The Regional Manager will be accountable for leading a team of general managers in a positive, motivating manner with continuous assistance in operational, financial and staff training and development. This position requires a leader who is results-oriented and committed to quality service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure the region is fully staffed from the General Manager down to the front desk customer service representatives.
- Partner with all the General Managers in the region to ensure their personal development in the organization as a manager; this includes recurring meetings, development plans, bench planning, etc.
- Drive revenue of the region in all areas of business
- Work cross functionally with other regional team members and marketing to execute all initiatives in the field, including Club openings, launches, special events, etc.
- Maximize member retention through ensuring high levels of customer service and cleanliness, as well as a variety of innovative and educational programs, continual upgrades of exercise equipment and responsiveness to member needs and suggestions.
- Manage the expense goals of the facilities through working with General Managers and Assistant General Managers on payroll and supply ordering.
- Work with each club to ensure they are delivering the cleanest clubs for our members.
- Work with each club to ensure they are educated and actively coaching on policy, brand, and membership knowledge.
- Understand the local competition and keep current on changes in the fitness community.
- Effectively recruit, lead, manage, communicate, train new General Managers
- Train and maintain superior customer service standards exhibiting by Club personnel within assigned region.
- Actively promote CLUB4 Fitness within the communities supporting assigned Clubs within his/her region

Performance Requirements of the GM include:
- To grow the business across his/her assigned region as regards sales profit, and to motivate staff to achieve this same goal.
- Ensure and monitor compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor performance and effectiveness of staff to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Manage all team members to ensure strong communication with the goal of developing effective working relationships and provide regular feedback to assist with motivation, performance management and continued support.
- Responsible for being up to date with current company policies and procedures, adhering to them, and disseminating all new policy or policy changes down to Club personnel throughout assigned region.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:

- Possess a working knowledge of all purchasing/sales web-based programming and fitness software utilized by C4F as it relates to sales of services to members.
- Must be computer proficient and well versed in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong track record of successfully executing on directives and meeting key strategic initiatives as designed and/or approved by assigned executive in charge of club operations or Managing Partner

2) Minimum certifications/education/experience level:
- Minimum of five (5) years in management roles, with demonstrated responsibility for multiple locations or responsibility over at least five (5) direct reports, preferably in a high-volume fitness, hospitality, or retail environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; 2- or 4-year degree, is preferred; ten (10) years of supervisory experience may be substituted for advanced education as a preference.
- Must be CPR/AED certified.

- Mental Demands: Reading; ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control under pressure.
- Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Work with frequent interruptions; climbing, stretching, frequent light lifting of books, boxes; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds; frequent use of computer and repetitive hand motions.
- Regulated air temperature and humidity in gym facilities and office environment, however, temperatures and humidity may be elevated while group and personal exercise activities are being performed.
- Regular standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, stretching, lifting, and other physical activity are required while performing the duties of the role.
- Sitting, close reading, and typing are required while performing the duties of the role.
- The noise level is generally low but may be louder and more intense in gym facilities.
- Continual travel will be required to be at assigned club facilities within the region as well as to go as instructed to other clubs (see travel described above) – at least 75% travel and may be interstate travel.
- Hours are generally traditional business hours but may, at times, extend to long or late hours to accommodate the different time zones of club facilities as well as to address projects and other matters involving time-critical events, deadlines, or club activities.
