We need a Media Outreach Coordinator to proactively secure media placements and expand our visibility in news outlets, blogs, podcasts, and digital platforms. This role is about securing media opportunities that spread awareness, not driving sales, as we already have a strong sales pipeline. 📌 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Identify & Pitch: Research and connect with journalists, editors, and influencers in environmental, sustainability, and art-focused media.
✅ Secure Media Coverage: Get Flower Power’s work featured in relevant publications, interviews, and online discussions.
✅ Build Media Relationships: Maintain a growing database of media contacts and nurture strong connections with press outlets.
✅ Monitor & Track: Keep a pulse on media trends, track press mentions, and find opportunities to insert Flower Power into climate action conversations.
✅ Develop Press Materials: Assist in crafting pitches, press releases, and media kits that capture attention.
🎯 Ideal Candidate:
✨ Passionate about climate action, sustainability, and art activism.
✨ Experience in media outreach, PR, or journalism.
✨ Proven ability to secure press coverage through pitching and relationship-building.
✨ Strong writing and communication skills.
✨ Familiarity with media databases (e.g., Muck Rack, Cision) is a plus.
