Summary/Objective:
Responsible for using the monthly Kit Packing Work Queue to build a Daily Production Schedule for the Kit Packing Department.
Essential Functions:
- Print production labels for kit packing
- Print drop ship labels for kit packing
- Monitor inventory levels for label room (stock, ribbons)
- Maintain customer inventory program
- Put inventory into locations after production run
- Enter Ship Requests in EPMS for customer orders (as a backup to PM)
- Process Room call out orders in ShipStore
- Enter tracking information into Cross Cap orders
- Assist in Maintaining Cross Cap Inventory levels
- Assist in Maintaining Cross Cap Photo Library
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist PMs with small kit packing projects and sample kits as needed
- Serve as a backup for bin production
- Serve as a backup to Material Handlers for staging production
Competencies:
- Must be able to perform assigned duties at an efficient level.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment while providing clear direction.
- Ability to work with Microsoft office along with the ability to manipulate spreadsheets and data.
- Ability to problem solve and to provide resolutions with little direction.
- Knowledge of ERP Software
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Regularly required to sit, regular use of hands.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use foot/feet to operate machine.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must be able to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines and priorities.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Proven success in a warehouse or fulfillment environment
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Strong background in production/manufacturing scheduling
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A two-year degree or equivalent from a technical school
- Two (2) years of work experience or an equivalent of four (4) years in the industry
