Job Summary
FLOWER ALLIE IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, AND WE NEED ANOTHER EXPERT FLORAL DESIGNER!!!
We are looking for an experienced floral designer to work at a very busy shop. We need a person who can design floral arrangements to keep up with the large quantity of orders and events that we have, talk with customers and build rapport, and travel to help set up weddings and other events!

Duties
- Design and create floral arrangements for various events, including weddings, funerals, and special occasions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their floral needs and preferences.
- Sell floral products and services while effectively utilizing POS systems for transactions.
- Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Assist with cash handling and perform retail math to manage sales accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Engage in daily activities that include cleaning, organizing, and restocking inventory.
- Utilize multilingual skills to assist diverse clientele effectively.
- Be reliable, honest, and hardworking!
- If you have any experience managing Instagram accounts, this is a MAJOR PLUS
Requirements
- A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A FLOWER SHOP, DESIGNING FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS, DESIGNING FLORAL SCAPES FOR WEDDINGS, EVENTS, AND/OR DESIGNING FLORAL ARRANGEMENT ORDERS FROM CUSTOMERS IS A MUST!!!
- MUST DESIGN USING A KNIFE! We are a very fast paced shop, so SAFE AND EXPERIENCED knife work is required for speed.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.
- Familiarity with POS systems, or the ability to learn our systems quickly.
- Basic knowledge of retail math to assist in sales transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, WEEKENDS ARE A REQUIREMENT (Especially Saturdays) and holidays as needed.
- A passion for flowers, design, and creativity is essential.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with customers from various backgrounds.
