General Helper

Job Overview 

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Helper/Laborer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities 

• Assist with loading, unloading, materials on carts, pallets, and blast table 

• Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area 

• Help Painter, Blaster, Leads, Engineering, and support other areas  

• Operate handheld stamping equipment safely and correctly 

• Use power tools and grinders safely (face shield required) 

• Read and interpret drawings per print for stamping locations  

• Verify Heat numbers to print and work orders to raw material  

• Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately 

• Chemical Handlings, Fork-truck certified  

• Paint prepping, blast prepping, saw cutting, other tasks or projects may be assigned 

• Oven curing responsibility  

• Perform general duties such as cleaning, trash removal, and site preparation to ensure operational efficiency and prep plant for visitors 

Qualifications

• Safety 1st must always wear (PPE) gloves, masks, steel toe boots while performing tasks
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
• Must be a safe starter and work with minimum supervision
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
• Basic Math (Adding, Subtracting, etc.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures in a work environment
• Prior experience in manual labor lifting 35lbs
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role

Work environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fork truck traffic. While the work area may be described as generally clean, safe, and "not loud", there will be machining and weld operations that generate moderate noise, metal particles, and dust
