Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Equity Plan Administrator to manage and oversee the company’s global equity compensation programs. This role is responsible for administering stock plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to employees and stakeholders regarding equity-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day operations of equity compensation plans (e.g., stock options, RSUs, ESPP).
- Maintain accurate records of all equity transactions, including grants, vesting, exercises, and cancellations.
- Manage equity administration systems and ensure data integrity.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, HR, and external vendors to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and reconcile reports for financial reporting, tax, and audit purposes.
- Support the preparation of equity disclosures for financial statements and SEC filings (if applicable).
- Assist with payroll coordination for equity-related income and tax withholding.
- Provide support and education to employees regarding their equity awards, including responding to inquiries.
- Coordinate with brokers and transfer agents as needed.
- Monitor and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in equity compensation administration or related field.
- Familiarity with equity plan administration platforms (e.g., E*TRADE, Fidelity, Shareworks, Carta).
- Experience with BOA online and Computer Share preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., IRC Section 409A, ASC 718, SEC reporting requirements).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation.
- Experience with global equity programs.
