WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Ensure patients are comfortably prepared for treatment sessions, including explaining procedures, addressing any concerns or questions, and assisting with any necessary preparations to ensure a smooth and efficient treatment experience.
- Skillfully administer EECP Therapy sessions according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Assist Clinic Director with patient examinations.
- Accurately enter patient information into EHR System or other medical databases.
- Other job duties, as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proficient in managing administrative tasks within a medical office setting, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, etc..
- Skilled in providing hands-on patient care, including preparing patients for treatment, taking vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, and providing patient education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with medical staff, administrative personnel, and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrated compassion and empathy towards patients, with a commitment to providing patient-centered care and creating a supportive and welcoming environment.
- Ability to adapt and respond effectively to changing priorities and unexpected situations, while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Eager to expand knowledge and skills through ongoing learning and professional development opportunities, with a growth mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification, required.
- Current BLS Certification, required.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
