What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Service Assistant - Flow BMW of Charlottesville position at Flow Automotive Companies?
Flow BMW of Charlottesville is seeking a full time service assistant, Monday through Friday, first shift. This position will also include shuttle driving when needed. Proficient computer and customer service skills are required. Must have a clean driving record. Automotive/dealership experience preferred, but not required. The service assistant responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Greet customers in person and over the phone with a professional, positive attitude
- Support the service manager and service advisors with daily tasks and workflow
- Safely transport customers using the shuttle service when needed
- Perform data entry, including updating customer and vehicle information
- Scan, file, and maintain repair orders and service documents in an organized manner
- Some administrative and front desk/receptionist duties
- Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk and customer waiting area
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills (experience with dealership systems is a plus)
- Ability to safely drive customers to and from their destinations via our shuttle van
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Top notch customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Dependable and punctual, including reliable transportation
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
