POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, build, and management of our cloud-based infrastructure. This role is critical to our organization's digital transformation and operational excellence. You'll be responsible for architecting scalable solutions, migrating existing systems to the cloud, and ensuring our cloud environments operate at peak performance with maximum security. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our cloud strategy, working with cutting-edge technologies to build robust, scalable infrastructure. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative solutions while maintaining the highest standards of security and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Design, Migration, Automation, and Optimization:
• Architect and implement scalable cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Design resilient systems that support business growth and adapt to changing demands.
• Lead migration projects from on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
• Develop comprehensive migration strategies, minimize downtime, and ensure seamless transitions.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar tools.
• Automate deployment pipelines and optimize cloud resource utilization for cost efficiency.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and end-users, to define functional business requirements and workflow needs
• Participates in I.T. Team meetings and provides training and support to junior teams members as appropriate
• Actively collaborate with development teams and compliance teams to ensure the cloud infrastructure meets both technical requirements and business requirements.
• Participate in continuous monitoring activities which include performance tuning, security assessments, and new emerging technology acquisitions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for seamless collaboration with teams and stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned from the I.T. Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and systems architecture.
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Quick and efficient with software programs

Salary : $74,000 - $100,000
