Flour Child Bakery & Café, a busy, family-owned, from-scratch bakery and café in downtown Grand Ledge is currently hiring a Dishwasher / Kitchen Support team member to help keep our kitchen running smoothly.
This role is primarily focused on dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organized dish area while supporting the kitchen team during prep and service. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that is critical to daily operations.
Schedule:
- Required availability: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Daytime position (no evenings)
- Reliability during these hours is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keep the dish station clean, organized, and stocked
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning and stocking
- Support kitchen staff as needed to maintain workflow
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards
