Flour Bakery Cafe is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Breakfast Barista to support morning café operations and provide excellent service to guests. This role involves preparing coffee and breakfast beverages, taking customer orders, assisting with breakfast and bakery items, operating the POS system, and maintaining a clean and organized café environment. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy morning café setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and other breakfast beverages according to café procedures
- Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS system
- Answer basic questions about breakfast, bakery, coffee, and café offerings
- Assist with breakfast and bakery item service as needed
- Confirm order details and communicate customer requests clearly with café team members
- Maintain beverage stations, counters, equipment, and customer areas in a clean and organized condition
- Replenish coffee, milk, cups, lids, napkins, utensils, and other café supplies
- Help maintain efficient customer and order flow during busy morning periods
- Assist with dine-in, pickup, and takeout orders
- Support opening and morning setup duties
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures
- Work cooperatively with baristas, bakery staff, and other café team members
Qualifications
- Previous barista, café, bakery, restaurant, or customer-service experience is helpful
- Interest in coffee, espresso, and breakfast café service
- Friendly and professional approach to customer service
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Good attention to detail and order accuracy
