Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Facility Maintenance Tech. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production performance. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic systems, pneumatic tools, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, multimeters (ohmmeters, ammeters), and other precision measuring instruments to identify faults quickly and accurately.
- Operate and maintain industrial machinery such as scissor lifts, HVAC/R systems, and equipment—including specific welding techniques—adhering to safety standards.
- Document work, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for accurate repairs and modifications.
- Support field service activities by providing on-site technical assistance for equipment installation, troubleshooting, or upgrades as needed.
Skills
- Extensive experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with strong industrial mechanic background.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC systems (including HVAC/R), and welding techniques
- Ability to operate lifts safely while adhering to OSHA regulations; valid certification preferred.
- Strong electrical experience covering low voltage systems up to high voltage applications; industrial electrician experience is highly desirable.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly in English with team members or clients when needed.
- Experience in industrial maintenance roles within field service environments is a plus; demonstrates adaptability under pressure.
