3rd Shift - typical normal shift is 11:00 pm to 7:30 am Monday thru Friday
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely change over of molding machines.
- At least 1-2 years of technical experience in set up and troubleshooting injection molding machines preferred
- Set up machines, molds and ancillary equipment to achieve optimum efficiency
- Ability to troubleshoot plastic materials.
- Pull and set molds in preparation for production runs and samples
- Set up new tools and help establish and document optimum process
- Able to met production needs, change overs, and able to diagnose and set up molds and machines for production of open jobs.
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ability to utilize information from the process sheets.
- Ability to perform finishing operations at the press.
- Ability to detect and diagnose surface defects of product, such as cracks, splay, sink, drag lines, blemishes, color variations, etc.
- Ability to sample new tools and communicate with Engineering, Tooling, and Quality personnel to ensure objectives are met.
- Performs setups and changeovers of molds according to setup instructions and specifications.
- Assisting in modification of existing procedure.
- Responsible for injection molding machine set up including ancillary equipment as related to the molding process
- Use appropriate equipment to perform mold changes
- Responsible for proper handling and care of all molds and tooling
- Responsible for clear and consistent communication between shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Trouble Shooting and Processing: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
- Harvard, IL 60033: Relocate before starting work (Required)
