What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spray Specialist position at Floridian National Golf Club?
Job Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, the Spray Technician will:
• Maintain records of fertilizer and pesticide applications as well as consumables inventories,
• Participate in fertilizer / pesticide applications and calibrate all application equipment regularly,
• Assist in mowing, course set up, handwatering or any other duty requested based on daily operational needs.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, maintain a professional image at all times, and lead by example. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for a 2 or 4-year Turf Management/Science Degree or Turf Management Certificate. The ability to lift 50 lb. bags/containers repetitively and work outside year-round in all weather conditions is essential.
