Chronic wounds impact the quality of life of nearly 2.5% of the total population in the United States and the management of wounds has a significant economic impact on health care. You will play a key role in easing the burden chronic wounds has on our country's healthcare infrastructure.
We are looking to hire an individual who has worked as an Advanced Nurse Practioner in a Skilled Nursing Facility, outpatient clinic, or inpatient hospital setting for the last year or more. This is a requirement for applicants.
Our practice is looking for a highly motivated individual who has worked as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for the last year or more. We are looking for an individual who understands and is willing to address the complex challenges posed by chronic wounds.
APRN Wound care experience is required with a minimum of 50 in person wound cases in the last 12 months.
You will be given opportunities to manage and treat chronic wounds, perform biopsies, perform bedside debridements, chemical cauterizations, I&Ds and supervise the Hyperbaric Chamber Operation.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently with limited supervision. Experience in wound care required. Florida license required. ACLS required. CWS and/or CWOCN preferred.
We require individuals who are applying for the position to be located in Tampa or surrounding areas. This position will started after credentialling is completed at the hospital (approximately 4 months).
