SUMMARY : Performs responsible semiskilled work in processing orders, receiving, performing quality inspections, moving materials within the warehouse, and loading / unloading trucks; does related work as required. Work is performed under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Receives product and orders both physically and in the system.
- Performs quality inspections.
- Operates a forklift and other equipment as needed.
- Ensures trucks are unloaded properly.
- Prepare orders based on packing lists.
- Achieves and maintains acceptable minimum standards of activity.
- Verifies color and records grade, shade, and quantity selected for shipment.
- Palletizes cartons according to shipping orders.
- Moves production materials into warehouse.
- Moves pallets of material within warehouse and trucks.
- Ensures trucks are loaded properly according to the shipping order.
- Assist order processors with selection and palletizing materials.
- Maintains order and condition of all material stored in warehouse.
- Identifies and processes return materials.
- Inspects assigned equipment on a daily basis.
- Performs general housekeeping duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
