Role Description:
This is a part-time start and to transition to a full-time on-site role for a Bilingual, Spanish speaking Licensed Practical Nurse or Emergency Medical Technician located in downtown Bradenton, FL. The Licensed Practical Nurse or Emergency Medical Technician will provide direct patient care, support care coordination under the direction of the physician, administer medications and document care accurately in patient records. Additional responsibilities include monitoring patients' conditions, assisting with diagnostic tests, and providing education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management practices. Schedule patients, help with phones, and learn the front desk operations as part of the role.
-Licensed Practice Nurse(LPN) certification and active licensure in the state of Florida or Emergency Medical Technician Certification
-Strong clinical skills including administering medications, monitoring vital signs and performing routine procedures with the physician
-Ability to document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records in the EMR. We use NextGen as the EMR system
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for educating patients and collaborating with healthcare teams
-Knowledge of infection control practices and regulations
-Proficiency with healthcare technology and electronic health records( EHR) systems
-CPR and Basic Life Support(BLS) certification
-Prior experience working in long-term care, outpatient facilities, or similar healthcare settings is preferred
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
