Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses such as College Algebra, Pre-calculus, Trigonometry, and Applied Calculus.
- Mentoring and working closely with undergraduate students.
- Working with colleagues in the Math Department in Panama City and Tallahassee to assist course coordination.
Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics (or a related field) from an accredited institution, with at least 18 hours of graduate work in Mathematics.
Preferred Qualifications
- We are especially seeking candidates who have a minimum of two years of experience teaching at the university level, either in-person or online.
- We prefer candidates with a demonstrable and quantifiable record of instructional excellence and a focus on strong pedagogy, and who have experience with using management systems learning (e.g., WileyPLUS, MyLab Math, and ALEKS).
