- The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Supervisor is to provide an accurate and continuous flow of laboratory analysis information between Quality Assurance, Operations, Warehousing, Sales, Production Planning, domestic and export customers.
- Coordinate SOPs/ QA documentation revision on a regular basis.
- Train all QA techs for ISO/ Safety related tasks.
- Facilitate proficiency training by examining the technical skills required for training.
- Coordinates tasks of the main lab techs for export products, inventory tracking, exports products microbiology and a variety of special products.
- Track QA tech attendance, timecard tracking, vacations, FMLA tracking.
- Ensure Bulk holds are rechecked and COAs are documented timely and accurately.
- Regular attendance required. Must interact professionally with co-workers.
- Investigate and respond to consumer/ customer complaints.
- Control inventory of lab supplies, lab equipment and equipment calibration (micro, QAP and main lab).
- Oversee OTTO/QAP daily reports ensuring data is accurate.
- Must be willing to work on night shift, including weekends when requested by management.
- Be the backup person for the company's pest control program, if necessary.
- All other job duties and responsibilities as designated by QA Management, Export Sales Department, and other Departments at Florida's Natural.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in science is required.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and FNG systems such as Reliant, Tribforce, Valiant and Pro -Diver.
- 1year minimum experience (extra-curriculum academic or previous work) in lab, including analytical and micro product analysis is required.
- Minimum of 1 year leadership supervision experience is required.
- Must be able to perform job responsibilities in a team-based work environment.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate accurate, detailed information efficiently both internally at FNG and externally to both domestic and export customers.
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Must be flexible.
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and organize personal job responsibilities, special projects, and designated lab technician responsibilities.
- Due to the significant amount of steps/stairs contained in our production facility, employees must have the ability to navigate steps/stairs in a safe manner.
