Diesel Mechanic Technician
Reports to Shop Foreman

As a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician, you will…
· Work in a Safe & Rewarding environment focused on providing great service.
· Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results; Develop a repair plan and communicate it to the Shop Foreman.
· Repair malfunctioning parts and other mechanical or electrical equipment; Complete repairs safely, effectively, and efficiently
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Use basic computer skills.
· Diagnose basic air brake and ABS functions.
Qualifications of a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician:
- Minimum of One-year mechanical experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have basic hand tools to match skill level.
Required Experience to be a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician:
- Class A CDL with Hazmat preferred.
- Petroleum Tank repair experience and certifications highly preferred
Physical Demands of a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician:
- Be able to lift to 70lbs (Over 70lbs team lift required)
- Stand, walk, and sit.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Climb stairs.
- Balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Talk or hear, taste or smell.
· Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
