Florida Repertory Theatre (www.floridarep.org) is celebrating its 28th year of award-winning regional theatre right here in downtown Fort Myers. We are a fully professional non-profit theatre company that produces a wide variety of comedies, dramas, and musicals.

Job Summary

We’re looking to diversify our box office crew. Be part of the fun of creating live theatre. As a Box Office Associate, you play a vital role as you are often the first and last face the patron will encounter.

Florida Repertory Theatre Box Office Associate will: 1) Responsible for box office ticket processing; 2) Process season tickets; 3) Help increase overall ticket sales; 4) Create and maintain good report with both patrons and fellow associates; 5) Be an ambassador to the theatre at all times; and 6) other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

· As the theatre's first impression, ensure an enjoyable patron experience.

· Provide outstanding customer service and guest services to all patrons.

· Available to work all days of the week, including nights and weekends.

· Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records.

· Encourage sales to the next show as well as membership donations.

· Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

· Address conflicts or concerns with professionalism and effective conflict management skills.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive work environment.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in customer service or guest services is preferred.

· Problem solving skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly

· Experience in theatre or hospitality settings is a plus.

· Cash handling experience is beneficial.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and general office equipment.

Hours/Compensation

Hours range from 10 hours/week to 20 hours/wk. We offer complimentary parking to our patrons and employees in a gate controlled parking lot. The position starts at $14 per hour.
