Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Approximately 4–8 hours per week, typically 2 days per week, with potential for additional hours as needed.
Location: Boca Raton, FL (In-Person)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a background in orthopedics, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, or interventional pain management to join our growing multidisciplinary practice.

This is a highly flexible, part-time opportunity for a provider who enjoys hands-on procedures and helping patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries through innovative, nonsurgical treatment options.

Our practice specializes in orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, utilizing advanced treatments such as extracorporeal shockwave therapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), joint injections, trigger point injections, and regenerative medicine.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable independently evaluating patients, recommending appropriate treatment plans, and performing injection-based procedures within their authorized scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform orthopedic and musculoskeletal examinations to evaluate joint pain, sports injuries, tendon injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Perform PRP injections, intra-articular joint injections, and trigger point injections as clinically indicated.
  • Evaluate patients for and administer extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) for appropriate musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Evaluate patients for regenerative medicine treatments, including orthobiologic and cellular-based therapies, where legally permitted.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans emphasizing nonsurgical pain relief, improved mobility, and functional recovery.
  • Review diagnostic imaging, including X-rays and MRI reports, when clinically indicated.
  • Perform occasional personal injury examinations and assist with Emergency Medical Condition (EMC) evaluations when appropriately authorized under Florida law.
  • Prescribe medications, including occasional hormone or peptide therapies, when medically appropriate and within the provider's prescribing authority.
  • Monitor patient outcomes, document progress, and adjust treatment recommendations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all applicable medical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active, unrestricted Florida Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
  • Current applicable national certification.
  • Strong understanding of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Experience performing joint injections or other musculoskeletal procedures.
  • Excellent patient communication and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently within applicable practice requirements.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, or interventional pain management.
  • Experience performing PRP and trigger point injections.
  • Experience with ultrasound-guided injections.
  • Familiarity with shockwave therapy.
  • Experience evaluating sports injuries, chronic joint pain, and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Interest in nonsurgical orthopedic treatments and regenerative medicine.

Schedule & Flexibility

This is a very part-time position, averaging approximately 4–8 hours per week.

The anticipated schedule consists of two short shifts per week, typically 2–3 hours per shift, depending on patient volume and scheduling needs.

Additional hours may occasionally be available as the practice continues to grow.

This opportunity may be ideal for an experienced orthopedic or sports medicine NP/PA looking to supplement an existing position, maintain a flexible schedule, or expand their experience with regenerative and interventional musculoskeletal procedures.

Why Join Our Team?

  • Work in an established, multidisciplinary healthcare practice.
  • Focus on hands-on orthopedic and regenerative procedures.
  • Utilize advanced technologies, including shockwave therapy.
  • Enjoy a flexible schedule with minimal weekly hours.
  • Collaborate with a team focused on nonsurgical pain management and functional recovery.
  • Help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy.
