Registered Dental Assistant

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Dental Assistant role based in Rockleage, FL. The Registered Dental Assistant will support the dentist during clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, setting up instruments and materials, and assisting chairside with examinations, restorations, and other treatments. Daily responsibilities include taking and documenting patient histories as directed, educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, and ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained. The role also involves managing patient flow, updating charts in compliance with practice protocols, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment. The Registered Dental Assistant will collaborate with the dentist and front office team to help deliver efficient, compassionate care and a positive experience for every patient.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Dental Assisting, including chairside support and assisting with a range of dental procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Dental Care and Dentistry principles to support accurate procedures and patient guidance.
• Ability to provide patient-centered Oral Care, including education on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions.
• Competence in Sterilization practices and infection control, following all safety and regulatory standards.
• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential and compliance with Colorado state requirements.
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain within required timeframe.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient comfort and respect.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Experience with dental software and electronic charting preferred.
• Previous experience in a general dentistry practice or similar clinical setting is beneficial.
