Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor / Processing Lead to manage and drive post-contract mortgage processing within a wholesale broker environment.
This role is responsible for taking loan files from structured handoff through closing and funding while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. In addition to managing a personal pipeline, this individual will help support processing workflows, improve systems, and serve as a resource for escalations as the company grows.
This is a hybrid role based in Volusia County, Florida, requiring local presence for collaboration while offering flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a pipeline of mortgage loan files from submission through closing
- Review files at handoff for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Prepare and submit clean, complete files to wholesale lenders
- Manage and clear underwriting conditions in a timely manner
- Coordinate with borrowers, loan originators, lenders, and title/escrow partners
- Provide consistent updates and maintain strong communication throughout the loan process
- Maintain detailed file documentation within LOS systems
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep files on track
- Support processing workflows and assist with training or onboarding as needed
Qualifications
- Active Florida Mortgage Loan Originator license required
- Previous professional mortgage processing experience
- Strong understanding of wholesale broker workflow
- Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Non-QM loans
- Proficiency with LOS systems and lender portals
- Ability to interpret underwriting guidelines and AUS findings
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management

Compensation
- Total compensation: $70,000 – $80,000
- Combination of base salary commission-based incentives
