Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hollywood, FL, for a Mental Health Technician. The Mental Health Technician will assist with providing direct patient care, support behavioral health interventions, and implement individualized treatment plans. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, observing and reporting patient behavior, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Additional responsibilities include fostering therapeutic relationships with patients and offering assistance during daily activities as part of their care plan.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Psychology and Behavioral Health principles to support patient needs.
- Experience in Mental Health services and the ability to foster therapeutic relationships.
- Skills in Direct Patient Care and Patient Care to ensure comfort and safety effectively.
- Ability to observe, document, and report patient behavior and progress accurately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
