As a Paratransit Driver (PD), you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our members receive reliable and professional transportation services.

Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and qualified EMT-Basic Drivers and provide exceptional service to our members. In this role, you will operate our state-of-the-art NEMT vehicles and assist passengers who are ambulatory, in wheelchairs, or require stretcher transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide safe, friendly, and professional transportation to members, ensuring a door-through-door service approach.

· Load, secure, and unload passengers, including those using wheelchairs and stretchers, with care and efficiency.

· Operate hydraulic lifts and other vehicle equipment safely.

· Follow dispatch and routing instructions through our advanced NEMT software.

· Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle.

· Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles.

· Report maintenance issues or necessary repairs promptly to the supervisor.

· Complete all required documentation and reports clearly and accurately.

· Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with safety and operational best practices.

Qualifications:

· Valid Florida license with a clean driving record.

· Ability to lift 100 pounds and assist passengers with mobility challenges.

· Strong customer service skills and a compassionate demeanor.

· Ability to work independently and follow dispatch instructions efficiently.

· Willingness to participate in company-provided training and certification programs.

· Previous experience in NEMT, paratransit, or a related field is a plus but not required.
