What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Florida Medical Pain Management?
Job Duties:
- Check in/out patients, collect copays and coinsurance as directed
- Collections of previous outstanding balances when directed
- Scheduling
- Answer incoming telephone calls.
- Chart preparation and filing.
- Verification of patient’s insurance eligibility
- Authorizations
- Scanning
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
3 year medical and Pain Management experience is a plus.
- Reliability and punctuality a must.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is imperative.
- Drug screen and Background required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
