Essential Functions
- Assists with transport of patients.
- Performs any variation of the job that is directly related to the function of an orthopedic technician.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Assists the orthopedic surgeons requested.
- Participates in Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Indicator (QI) as assigned.
- Performs patient rounds, charting, charging, regular cleaning of equipment and in service education that is directly related to the orthopedic technician service.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure/Certification
Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
