As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, helping them alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments to determine their specific needs and preferences
- Administer various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, lymphatic, prenatal and reflexology.
- Provide pain management and relief through targeted massage therapy
- Create personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide recommendations for self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid Massage Therapist license in the state of Florida.
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist (new graduates are welcome to apply)
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong understanding of acute pain management techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patient conditions
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, hot stone massage, lymphatic massage, prenatal massage, reflexology.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively explain treatment plans to clients
- Commitment to maintaining professional development through continuing education courses
