The Extraction Operator: extracts coffee for food service orders and also ingredient orders making sure it’s of the highest quality and great tasting coffee extract.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Follow extraction procedures.

-Monitor DI Water System.

-Operate extraction vessels.

-Check brix making certain the brix are accurate.

-FIFO

-Transfer and filter product to holding tanks, portable tanks, and or mix tanks.

-Process all paperwork (extraction logs)  

-Keep department clean

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with Food Safety guidelines procedures, rules and regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).                

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:    

-Good operation skill, exceptional general maintenance skills.

-Must be able to lift more than 50lbs.

-Must be able to work in wet, noisy and hot environment.

-Good organizational skills.

-Good time management.

-Knowledge of extraction system and operating the vessels

-Knowledge of cleaning procedures
