Job Description:
This internship provides hands-on experience in event planning, customer service, game presentation, promotions, and entertainment in a professional sports environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events, theme nights, and fan engagement activities during game days.
- Collaborate with the game presentation team to create engaging in-game entertainment, including music, videos, intermission activities, and promotions.
- Contribute to enhancing the overall fan experience through innovative promotions and interactive elements.
- Manage and operate on-ice games, activities, and promotions that occur throughout each home game.
- Coordinate with sponsors and partners to implement promotional initiatives and activations.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in sports management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creative mindset with a passion for sports and entertainment,
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during game days
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Strong customer service and fan interactive experience
- Previous experience in event planning, promotions, or game presentation is a plus.
