Role Description The Renovator is a full-time, on-site role based in Estero, FL. This position is responsible for executing kitchen, bath, and outdoor space renovations, including cabinet installation, fixture placement, and finishing work in line with design specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting design plans, preparing work areas, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring high-quality installation and craftsmanship. The Renovator will collaborate with designers, project managers, and other trades, communicate progress and issues, and maintain a clean, safe job site. The role also involves inspecting completed work, making adjustments as needed, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within quality standards.
Qualifications
- Hands-on renovation skills, including cabinetry installation, basic carpentry, and use of common power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret design plans, measurements, and construction drawings, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of residential construction practices, building codes, and safety procedures relevant to kitchen, bath, and outdoor projects.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients on-site.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, time management, and reliability in meeting project deadlines and quality expectations.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working in varied environments throughout the day.
- Previous experience in renovation, remodeling, or cabinetry installation preferred; trade certifications or vocational training are a plus.
