Finance Director
The Florida House Democratic Campaign Committee seeks a full-time
Finance Director for the remainder of the 2026 election cycle. The Finance
Director will be tasked to implement the caucus finance plan and make changes to it as necessary as the nature of the cycle progresses, oversee all
fundraising activities, including targeted incumbent and challenger races across the state, train candidates and staff on fundraising best practices, and
be the primary point of contact on all things related to fundraising. The
Finance Director reports directly to the Caucus Director and Senior Advisor.

Responsibilities
- Executing the cycle finance plan in concert with the Senior Advisor,
- Directing and scheduling donor meetings.
- Conducting fundraising training for Members, candidates, and staff.
- Researching potential donors, creating realistic fundraising asks, and managing call time.
- Planning, advertising, and executing in and out of state fundraising events and trips.
- Coordinating with finance team.
- Report weekly to the Leader Designate, Caucus Director, and Senior

Skills and Qualifications
- One to two election cycles (24 years) of experience in political fundraising and campaigns.
- Willingness to gain experience and deep knowledge of Florida’s:
- Campaign Finance Law
- Political landscape
- Lobby Corp
- Political Committees
- Association landscape
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets use
- Proficient in NGPVAN and ActBlue
- Ability to create and manage budgets, finance plans, and cash flow projections and tracking.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including frequent statewide and
- out of state travel for events and meetings.
